Aloomba, on the banks of the Mulgrave River, is a pleasant township surrounded by cane fields.
If you're heading south along the Bruce Highway, turn left soon after you cross the Mulgrave River.

It is a pleasant 30 minute drive to Cairns and five minutes to Gordonvale township.
