Quixell is a long established real estate firm in Cairns. Previously known as Roberts and MacLeod, it commenced operations at Traveltown 21 Lake Street Cairns in 1988.

Gavin Roberts and Brian MacLeod had previously been the top salespeople Australia wide for one of the largest real estate companies in Australasia when Roberts and Macleod started. The company quickly became one of the leading real estate sales companies in Cairns with 10 sales people selling commercial real estate with some of the biggest sales in Cairns at the time being negotiated by the very experienced team.

In 1998 Gavin purchased the company from Brian and the two remain good friends with the same ethical business ideas and both with a passion for innovation and technology. To reflect the way business was evolving in the new millennium there was a complete change of brand, image and direction for the company in 1999.

The new name Quixell was invented. The reasons for the name indicate a short, to the point, snappy and suitable as a short internet name were obvious. The Quixell brand name now has the highest internet search engine rankings of all local agencies for relevant phrases such as 'houses for sale cairns' or similar. It also has banners on the top and sides of realestate.com.au the most popular real estate directory in Australia.

Quixell has developed exciting new technology which greatly improves the efficiency of our salespeople allowing the agency to pass these savings on to the vendors through the new Quixell Gold Sales System.
