My husband and I had listed our country cottage, studio and land with an established real-estate company and for over a year there had been almost no activity towards sales and we found we had to continually chase-up the agents to find out what was happening. We finally de-listed our property and were considering finding tenants.
We had almost lost hope when we met Paul from Quixell. His fees were low and he promised that he would do his best for us. We listed with Quixell and were delightfully surprised with the service, integrity, honesty and also the results. Paul rang us at least once a week to tell us of any interest in the property. After trying unsuccessfully for some months to sell our property, we decided to list with Quixell. A regular agent with a high commission fee had not provided the results we had hoped for and the idea of Quixell's low fixed rate commission appealed to us. Within a short time our house had gone to contract for $20 000 more than our highest offer with the original agent and on top of that profit we saved more than $12 000 in commission by using Quixell's fixed price system. Needless to say we were extremely happy with this result. This letter serves to document our appreciation of the efforts and prefessional conduct of Mr Etienne Lambert displayed during the recent sale of our home.
We had wished, for considerable time, to sell our appartment at the Lakes Resort in Cairns. We had given the listing to several well known real estate agencies over the course of approximately 8 months. During this time, numerous open home inspections were cnducted and considerable money was expended on additional advertising. All ofthis effort and expenditure did not result in any concrete offers.
Unsatisfied with the mainstream real estate agencies, we turned to Quixell, and were very pleasantly surprised by their personal and down-to-earth approach.
Mr Lambert was assigned to our property and clearly outlined what his strategy would be and was pragmatic when explaining condition of the local market and what our expectations should be.
Etienne was given the incredibly difficult taks to sell our property at a time when several other appartments (some listed at a lower price) were for sale in the Resort complex, body corporate fees for the complex had recently been inflated, and in additional to all of this, numerous new appartments were coming on line in Cairns during a time of a generally perceived slowing market.
Undaunted by this challenge, Etienne worked tirelessly to promote and market our home. However, the most pleasing aspect of our experience with Etienne was that he regularly went out of his way to make sure that we were constantly kept up to date and informed on all progress with marketing and the subsequent sale.
It must also be boted that Etienne went beyond what was expected when finance for the buyer of our property was declined. His support and assistance for the buyer resulted in finance being approved from another provider and subsequently the sale of our property was achieved without any further delay.
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Etienne and the Quixell team to anyone wishing to sell their home.
